WHAT IS VASTU?

Vastu Shastra is a traditional Hindu system of architecture which literally translates to “science of architecture”. Vastu Shastras incorporate designs which are intended to integrate architecture with nature, its elements and energy fields for enhanced wealth, health, prosperity and happiness. In simpler words, Vastu Shastra aims to eliminate negative energies and enhance positive energies around us. Vastu is a science that combines the five elements of nature and cosmos called ‘Panchbhootas’- earth, fire, water, sky and space.

Earth Element

Earth (prithvi) is the most important element in Vastu and influence human lives in every way.  A detailed inspection of soil, plot, site, shape and size has to be done before commencing the construction..

Water Element

Water (jal) is is considered as an element of north-east and is the second foremost element considered in Vastu. Vastu provides proper directions for the placement of water sources and its drainage.

Fire Element

Fire (Agni) is considered as an element of south-east. Light is the essence of life, and sun is the natural light giver. There should be proper ventilation for sunlight being necessary and natural source of light for human beings.

Air Element

Air (vayu) is also an element of north-east and there are important directions for windows and doors in Vastu so as to receive a good amount of air.

Space Element

Space is also called as the universe which is known as ‘Brahamand’- the place of god. Space has a very important place in our lives any disturbance related to space in house would lead to detrimental results.

ASTROLOGY

Astrology is the study of the influence of alignment of stars and planets on every individual’s mood, personality, and environment, depending on when he was born. What most people know about astrology is their “sign,” which refers to one of the 12 constellations of the zodiac. This is a form of sun-sign astrology, which is the astrology upon which newspaper horoscopes are based. It is probably the simplest form, because nothing more than the date of someone’s birthday is needed to generate a sun-sign horoscope. This form of astrology is simplistic and produces very limited results. To produce a more accurate reading, astrologers check to see what sign each planet was in at the time of birth. The planets and signs combine with other elements, such as houses and angles, to form a complex and often very specific profile of a subject’s personality, life and future prospects.

NUMEROLOGY

Numerology is similar to astrology  but deals with connections between numbers and personality traits, destiny, events, and circumstances. Your full name at birth represents the talents, abilities, shortcomings and attributes with which you are equipped to use during your lifetime. It is the blueprint of who you are. And, arguably the most important source of insight in Numerology, is your date of birth, which reveals the path you are on, the direction of your life, the opportunities and challenges you encounter on your path, the cycles and so forth. Your Life Path number is derived from your birthdate and if you want to tap into the opportunities, challenges, and lessons that you specifically chose for this lifetime, your Life Path number is a key.
